Lower The Trap is about Graeme Swinimer, a boy whose father, a fisherman, accidentally captures a giant lobster in one of his traps. Should his father put the lobster up for auction at the annual lobster festival and use the money to take Graeme on a trip to Big Fish Aquarium? Should he sell it to the local cannery in Lower Narrow Spit, to be mounted as a prized trophy? Or should Graeme’s father return the giant lobster to the sea?
