In addition to her work in fiction, Jessica accepts freelance assignments (fiction and non fiction) from time to time, particularly for children, travel and sailing magazines.
Most recently, she wrote a nonfiction article on how to write a book series for the Canadian Children’s Book News (summer, 2011). She also wrote a fiction short story for ChickaDEE Magazine (winter, 2011).
